Day 1: Arrival in Zagreb. Upon landing in Zagreb, you’ll be welcomed and taken to your hotel. Later in the evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the hotel alongside your Tour Director and fellow travelers. (Dinner included)
Day 2: Start the day with breakfast, then venture into the city’s historic Upper Town. Visit landmarks such as St. Mark’s Church and St. Catherine’s Church, and take in views of the Parliament and Government Palace. Continue to the Cathedral before making your way to Ban Jelačić Square, where the festive Christmas Market is buzzing with holiday spirit. Sip on warm mulled wine, wander through Zrinjevac Park, or skate on the surrounding Ice Park. You may choose to explore further on your own or return to the hotel with the group, passing notable sites like the Croatian National Theatre, the Academy of Music, and the Mimara Museum. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy freely.
Day 3: After breakfast, depart for Ljubljana. On arrival, a local guide will lead you through the city, crossing the iconic Dragon Bridge and exploring beautifully decorated squares and festive streets. Ride the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle for sweeping views of the city. Spend the afternoon enjoying the Christmas atmosphere, live entertainment, local cuisine, and cheerful holiday events. Overnight stay in Ljubljana.
Day 4: Begin the day with a visit to the scenic Lake Bled, one of the world’s most picturesque natural lakes. Stop at Bled Castle, perched dramatically above the lake. Next, travel to the charming town of Radovljica, a filming location for one of Coca-Cola’s memorable Christmas commercials. Later in the day, return to Ljubljana, where the evening is yours to enjoy the festive city on your own.
Day 5: Leave Slovenia behind as you travel to Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace. A guided tour will highlight famous spots such as Getreidegasse, the Salzburg Cathedral, the Festival Hall, and Mozart’s home. Visit the Silent Night Chapel, where the cherished Christmas hymn was written. Take some time to browse the Christmas market before heading to Munich. That evening, share a Farewell Dinner with the group at a local restaurant.
Day 6: Explore the Bavarian capital with a guided city tour. Visit Nymphenburg Palace, once home to the royal family, and view prominent sights such as the Munich Residence, Maximilianstrasse, Leopoldstrasse, the Opera House, the Olympic Park, and Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel. Don’t miss the nearby Viktualienmarkt and St. Peter’s Church.
